It's hard to believe but the real secret to weight loss that's permanent and safe is not so much to do with the diet, pills, or any other aid you may purchase. It's to do with educating yourself and restricting yourself.

Think of your body as a bank account. The simple financial laws are these, if you put money in faster than you spend it, you are in credit. Your account gets fatter. If you take money out faster than you put it in you are in deficit.

So if you eat more calories than you expend you will put on weight, usually! If you use more calories than you put in you will lose weight, usually.

So! I hear some of you cry, I eat very little but still put on weight. What should I do?
